Despite economic troubles, providing services to others should not be a hindrance. For esteemed philanthropist and business entrepreneur, Naveen Jain, he does just that. He believes that a business should not just aim on becoming financially successful, but also on instilling successfully a philanthropic drive to give back to the community.
When monetary crises arose and forced businesses to lessen their budget on philanthropic efforts, Naveen Jain, together with Intellius Inc., stood firm and continued contributing to numerous nonprofit aid groups. In 2008, Naveen Jain-helmed Intelius contributed about $210,000 to various nonprofits.
Intelius, established in January 2003, is a public records company that provides clients with a wide range of information-based products and services. The company is not only an information-based business but as well as a developer of communities.
Naveen Jain, co-establisher and chief executive officer of Intelius, values the responsibility of charity-giving. He stresses the company’s need to improve while the crises have pulled other companies backward. He wants the company to remain consistent and continue to give aid to the community, especially to the youth and education programs.
Amplified by Jain’s ability to lead and his passion for philanthropy, Intelius persists in becoming a trustworthy community affiliate and giving to various nonprofit organizations for the youth, healthcare, family and education.
The company also donated about $170,000 to a scholarship fund for the undergraduate students of the University of Washington taking up Business and Computer Science and Engineering courses.
Some of the many partners of Intelius in its humanitarian endeavors are the Bellevue Boys and Girls Club, the Bellevue School Foundation, Children’s Hospital, Treehouse and Eastside Domestic Violence Program.
Another recipient of the contributions of Intelius is Hopelink, a nonprofit group that launches campaigns centered on lessening poverty and helping the destitute. Two of these outreach programs are the “End Summer Hunger” and “Reaching out Luncheon” campaigns.
