Even without the classical training in perfumery, Spencer Krenke is widely applauded, and has achieved huge success through empirical experience. In the scent industry, he is what is referred to as a ‘rebel nose’. He is famed for his gift of being able to re-create scents that are so accurate, that it is almost like smelling the real thing.

Krenke loves the job that he does, and is aware of just how lucky he is; to be able to recreate scents like Burberry Eau de Toilette so easily. The company that he owns called Saint Parfum refers to the concept of an ordinary person who does extraordinary things; I.E. a saint.

Following the success or their candle and body care ventures in the late 1990s and early 2000’s Krenke and his partner Robert Schwai launched their new premium priced candle and reed defuser company.

With a collection of over 100 Fragrances St parfum is a bustling local business. During a recent visit to the manufacturing arm of the business, we were escorted on what can only be called a scent journey. The scents included a flower shop, the country of Hawaii, a freshly cut bale of hay, a fig tree in Tuscany and a vine fresh tomato. None of the scents failed to deliver, and all of whom smelled exactly as was promised.

The reed diffusers and candles are handmade and poured to order by the company’s founders. Each item comes complete with a card which details the fragrance blend that was used, when exactly it was created and by whom. The presentation is designed to be simple and elegant, and the company believe that it would make an incredible gift to somebody.

Currently the company are offering recession busting deals including buyer for one offers across both their online and offline channels. So next time you’re looking for a decadent gift, consider a candle or diffuser from St Parfum.
